I shot this film at the height of the Occupied movement, playing Alan Murrough, a famous economist and financial titan who gets kidnapped by a radical socialist group. Back when the film was called ‘Other Histories’. There’s an ensemble cast of wonderful actors, and the director, Daniel Oh, is terrifically smart; a very precise filmmaker who’s taken his time with the editing of this film. We even did some pickup scenes about a year after our principal shoot. Multiple storylines culminate in the greater narrative: an artist struggles with his mother’s passing; a middle-aged debt collector is confronted with a personal crisis; and a group of young radicals embarks upon a campaign of violent protest, creating a ripple of consequences. I’ll be excited to see it. In the meantime, here’s the trailer.
